  • Weird electro-nearly-hyperpop experimenters Pas Tasta lean heavy on the J-rock this album, leading to something that could be almost be a boyband number.
• mizchi / Umi ga Mieru Tokoro
  • It’s rainstorm season and that means it’s the perfect time for melancholy shoegaze explorations.
• Collage / Murder Echeveria
  • Dark pop at war. Switching up the languages again, this time Natsuko’s added a bit of Latin to the mainly Amis lyrics.
• Gliiico / Mutron
  • We are deep into the Y2K indie revival now.
• Erotic Worms Exhibition / Telltale Signs
  • The band name suggests some of the weirdest eroguro you’ve ever heard but no, this is just your regular indie pop band.
• 4na / Suguwana ★
  • Sad pop rock for sad pop rock season.
• Wayne’s So Sad / I Brought No Miracle
  • More plaintive Taiwanese rock, in case you’re tired of NPFCD and Sorry Youth.
• Stuts & Onuki Taeko / Iiyudana ★
  • Enka meets chill hop. That sure seems like a good onsen.

  • Pop punk to chant to.
• Zukai / beep beep beep
