- Starting off summer paeans with post-punk indie pop.

- End of summer blues? AprilBlue are still complaining about spring.

- Overamped guitars soar over hopeful melodies.

- Shoegaze goes on a night drive.

- It was difficult to pick one song from this album! So ofc I went for the weirdest one — breezy pop with detours into exotica and psychedelic rock.

- Slow, dreamy guitar melodies bubble into a soft dance beat.
- Louis Tomlinson / Bigger Than Me
- I said I would include it! I’ve been listening more to the demo of “The Greatest” which leaked at the end of August. But given that this is the currently promoted single yeah I have heard a lot of it too.
- Arkells / Teenage Tears (feat. Tegan and Sara)
- Am I posting this just for the ungentrified Vancouver aesthetic? Yes.
- suzukimikikozu / Ikiteshinu (CW: death ideation) ★
- A heart-on-its-sleeve post-punk cry in the vein of Eastern Youth.
- Miyuna / Donyoku
- Deceptively cheerful with hints of Sheena Ringo.
- Lily Chou-Chou Lied / The Foreteller (CW: death mention)
- LLCCL’s strong point is dark imperial dance pop, when they find the inflection point between Yahyel’s dark dream pop and early-2010s Sakanaction’s electronic rock.
- AAAMYYY / Lilt
- AAAMYYY continues to experiment at different borders of pop. Here, it’s off-kilter vapourwave.
- COR!S / Umi wa Chikai
- Early ’00s j-pop meets future bass.
- Bullet Train / Uchuu Drive (CW: flashing)
- Weird CTQ is back with a sushi-themed music video.
- dj newtown / 2005 (Telematic Visions Hi-Speed Love Romance / Letter to the 05 remix)
- From a remix EP of “2005” (which is a song from 2009). Has the energy of a Nico Nico Douga medley.
