I can’t remember if I watched any films this year and that says a lot. Oh, I guess Episode VII, I think I watched that early this year?

Your favourite book read this year?

I don’t think I read any books this year, but a few fanfics: Ain’t No Grave (CAtWS) and The Things You Never Knew About People (FF7).

Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?

In terms of albums, the Zankyou no Terror soundtrack; Kanno Yoko keeps putting out better and better soundtracks. In terms of songs, Utada Hikaru’s comeback single (!!!) “Nijikan Dake no Vacance”. Can I just gush about the lesbian space romance music video feat. post-apocalyptic Montreal. I think it’s her best music video ever.

Yuri on Ice!

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?

Well I can’t put Yuri on Ice here as I’ve been with the fandom since the first trailer aired, so I’m not sure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?

Not really a fandom but figure skating: Worlds 2016.

PHICHIT.

I don’t really think I had one this year, sadly.

Yeah it's surprisingly good as focus music considering how emotional it can also make me.

YOI actually does a really good job of explaining all of the technical details of figure skating so definitely yes!

(I am desperately trawling through fandoms I am barely in for longfic; I've been reading a lot of Star Wars prequel fics lately and rereading Star Trek reboot fics.)
